Shark Week was first aired by Discovery. This occurred back in 1988. It had such excellent success that each year in July the public enjoys a full week of shark documentaries. people have been fascinated by these robust creatures that rule the seas and the oceans.
Sharks look ferocious, scary, blood-thirsty and instill a sense of uneasiness. The method these predators lurk around underwater close to unsuspecting victims was an motivation for a excellent horror classic, Jaws.
